had to import my videos from my HDR-GW55VE with the Play Memories Home Software, I simply copied the CLIPINF and STREAM folders (including all the .CPI and .MTS files contained within these folders) from the SD card to my HDD. However, as I only discovered now, I did a mistake by not copying the PLAYLIST folder, and the INDEX.BDM and MOVIEOBJ.BDM files.



When I learnt that I had to import the videos via PMH in order to have all the management information included, I recreated the AVCHD folder structure according to what I read in the forums and did the following:
- put files on an SD card
- insert SD card in camera
- let camera repair the file structure (by placing the file I had copied to a newly created AVCHD_BK folder)
- insert SD card in computer
- start import from SD card with PMH.



PMH recognised my SD card and imported the videos but I got the message “Import videos without management information”.



Once videos were imported via PMH, I noticed that:
- file extensions are changed from .MTS to .M2TS (which is normal)
- files have not been renamed with date/time information, e.g. files are named XXXXX.M2TS instead of YYYYMMDDHHMM.M2TS
- PMH does not see any GPS data (I find this strange since the GPS data is included in the Exif information of the .MTS files)



I know that I can manually set the GPS data in [map view], but since I have some 200 files, this would be quite cumbersome.



Is there any way to recreate the missing .BDM and .MPL files so that files are imported with the proper GPS data? What else could I do in order to have PMH recognise the GPS data?
