Мисля, че за да работи по IEEE 802.11n стандарта за да може да модулира QAM модулацията и на двойно по голяма честотна лента мощността на предавателя пада. Тоест предавателя, когато предава на IEEE 802.11g/IEEE 802.11b може да предава на 100mW, но щом превкючи на IEEE 802.11n мощността пада.
